Senna Deepmoss
Marchwarden of Clan Deepmoss | Southern Cradle / Bog-edge | Marchwardens Council | The Verdant Marches
Appearance
Forties, tall, with dark skin and calm grey eyes. Her hair is worn in a single long braid wrapped with luminescent Bog-moss that glows faintly green at night. She moves deliberately, the way someone does when they’re always assessing a situation.
Personality
Careful, measured, analytical. Senna is watching the unification debate with the patience of someone who knows the right choice depends on information she doesn’t yet have. She respects both Kaelith Thornborn and Draven Ironbark but trusts neither completely. She makes decisions slowly and changes them rarely.
What She Wants
- Evidence. Not rhetoric, not emotion, not divine marks. Show her the threat is real and she’ll commit. Show her the unification plan works and she’ll join.
- She will not move on faith.
Connections
- Marchwardens Council, her political sphere
- Kaelith Thornborn and Draven Ironbark, respected but not trusted
- Vael Sundren, quietly commissioned to investigate the Bogs
GM Only
Senna’s territory borders the Bogs, and she has firsthand knowledge of their expansion. She has quietly commissioned Vael Sundren to investigate the cause.
Decision point: If Vael’s investigation confirms an external cause for the Bog expansion, Senna will side with Kaelith Thornborn and push for unification. If it suggests natural cycles, she’ll remain neutral. Her decision could swing the entire unification debate.
Design note: Senna is the “convince me” NPC. She rewards PCs who bring evidence over passion. Presenting Vael’s research, Ivara’s vision, or Tessara’s testimony could all move her, but only if the PCs frame it as data, not prophecy.
