| Title | Lantern-Keeper Sergeant |
| Location | Veil Harbor |
| Faction | The Lantern-Keepers |
| Status | Alive |
Description
Bryn is in his early thirties, stocky, with ruddy skin and a perpetual sunburn. Red-brown hair kept short under his Keeper’s cap. A wide, honest face that makes him look younger than he is. His hands are scarred from rope burns and Trench-creature encounters.
Earnest, brave, and slightly too idealistic for his line of work, Bryn volunteered for The Lantern-Keepers because he believed in the mission, and three years in, he still believes, which makes him rare among the rank and file. He’s good at his job, solid in a fight, steady in the fog, and absolutely terrible at politics. He says what he thinks, which endears him to his squad and infuriates his superiors.
What he wants: To do the right thing. To protect the coast. To understand why his latest discovery, a stone altar in a tidal cave that appeared overnight, makes him feel like someone is watching him even when he’s alone.
GM Only
Kellar is the ideal “ground-level” ally for PCs in Veil Harbor. He’s competent, trustworthy, and connected to events through his patrol route.
His discovery of the altar is a hook that ties to the Veil Unbound’s ritual network. If the PCs follow his lead, they’ll find a trail of ritual sites along the coast.
Kellar is also being watched by the Veil Unbound, who know he found the altar. They haven’t moved against him yet because killing a Lantern-Keeper draws attention.
